The Office of Transport Safety Investigations (OTSI) has made a submission to the National Transport Commission on its discussion paper Improving health screening for commercial vehicle drivers.
OTSI’s submission is confined to bus and coach drivers within NSW and discussion of the rail safety workers health assessment as appropriate. It is primarily focused on the benefits and opportunities to improve transport safety
OTSI’s contribution highlights the importance of cooperation between safety and regulatory bodies to support a safe and reliable transport network.
